West Virginia witness says low flying UFO cloaked itself

West Virginia witnesses at Elkins reported watching and following a low flying , triangle-shaped UFO that eventually appeared to cloak itself and disappear about 8:40 p.m. on September 25, 2014, according to testimony in Case 60101 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The reporting witness and his wife were driving south out of Elkins on Beverly Pike when two bright orange lights were observed low in the sky.

“The light on the right was higher than the one on the left, suggesting the object had just changed direction or was banking from a western direction of travel to a northern direction of travel,” the witness stated.

The couple moved closer to the object.

“We watched the lights get closer and appear level as the object was traveling due north in the opposite direction of travel from us. We noticed a third, dim white light in the front of the object, thus forming a triangle of lights with the two orange orbs to the rear/side.”

The witness described the object.

“As we got closer I noticed the orange lights were hourglass-shaped. Last night was very clear and devoid of any cloud cover. This made it possible to discern the shape of the object was indeed a triangle, flat black in color, reflecting no light.”

The witness believes there may be many more witnesses out there.

“This is a heavily populated area with many brightly lit businesses. The object traveled directly over a huge shopping center with Wal-Mart and several neighborhoods. We pulled over at a Ford dealership to observe and watched as the object slowly passed by – much too slow for even a small Cessna and at a low altitude.”

The object was low enough in the sky for a good look.

“The altitude was roughly slightly lower than that of which an airplane would be if it was about to land. I’d estimate speed at around 30-40 knots. The scale of this thing was huge! It’s ‘wing’ span I would estimate around 100 yards. I am very familiar with general aviation and military aircraft and this was neither. I saw no discernible control surfaces, canopy, windows, or any other feature – just flat black with two orange lights and one white, dim light.”

The object did not appear to move away, but just disappeared.

“As the object passed by us, it disappeared as if using a cloaking device. All we could see was stars. Again, this is a very heavily populated and bustling area. Anyone traveling south on the Beverly Pike between 8:35 and 8:40 would have seen it, as it was flying parallel with the five-lane on the Wal-Mart side of the highway.”

Our religious beliefs would be challenged. Many scientists assume that Earth is the center of the biological universe and that other galaxies are lifeless, but assumptions impede discovery, Loeb noted. “It was once common sense that heavy objects fell faster than light ones,” he said. “We should simply check our assumptions rather than make them, especially in the search for intelligent life.” One such assumption: that objects of the Kuiper belt, a region of the solar system beyond the orbit of Neptune, emit natural light reflected by the sun. It could be artificial light, Loeb said. A city the size of Tokyo could radiate light seen from that distance — if we looked for it, according to Loeb. Light could be the key to detecting life beyond the solar system, Loeb said. Planets have a habitable zone: the right distance from a star to be warm enough for liquid water. Scientists using powerful telescopes should be able to view the starlight passing through a planet’s atmosphere to detect the fingerprints of oxygen and methane, Loeb said. Such telescopes have already discovered candidates for observation. The deep-space Kepler satellite has found 3,500 objects. But Loeb said that the Hubble Space Telescope’s successor, the James Webb Space Telescope, set to be launched in 2018, will be an even more powerful investigative tool. “If we want to detect biological molecules of life in the next decade, this is the best instrument,” he said. There are also low-frequency observatories poised to eavesdrop on RADIO signals from extraterrestrial civilizations (while our signals head out into space to be captured). What would we do if we detected such a signal and made contact with a civilization billions of years older than our own? “We could ask, ‘What is the nature of dark matter and dark energy?’” Loeb said. “But it would feel like cheating on an exam.”

The Pope’s astronomer has spoken out on his belief that there is definitely life beyond Earth – and says he would happily baptize monstrosities from beyond the stars.

In his new booklet, ‘Would You Baptize an Extraterrestrial?’, Jesuit Brother Guy Consolmagno, the new president of the Vatican Observatory Foundation (and keeper of the Pope’s meteorite collection) also answers a few big questions.

Earlier this year, the Pope said that Martians  would be welcome into the Church.

The Pontiff said, ‘If, for example, tomorrow an expedition of Martians came, and some of them came to us: green, with that long nose and big ears, just like children paint them. … And one says, “But I want to be baptised!” What would happen?’

Consolmagno, who holds two planetary science degrees, has firm beliefs on the matter (clue: it’s a yes!).

He has said, ‘Any entity – no matter how many tentacles it has – has a soul.’

Aliens can rest easy about the prospect of space crusades, however.

Consolmagno reassures any aliens reading that he would baptise them, ‘Only if they asked.’

The long-serving astronomer says that finding ET does not disprove the existence of God. He hopes that, instead, the discovery of tentacled horrors from the void will lead people to question what being human means.

‘When we say human, human as compared to what?’ he asks.

Consolmagno also addresses such pressing questions as whether God had to move the Star of Bethlehem by hand.

‘When people are worried about what was the star of Bethlehem, they really want to know how much does God act in the universe?” he asks. ‘Did God make that star? Does God arrange things? Does God use divine coincidences?’

A California witness at Riverside reported watching a bright white UFO with dark blue edges that made no sound as it moved overhead, according to testimony in Case 60066 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The witness was sitting in a chair and meditating about 9:30 p.m. on September 22, 2014, when the object was first noticed moving in from a southeast direction.

“From the south direction moving east towards where I was sitting, I saw a bright white, round light moving slowly,” the witness stated. “From the round, bright light came dark blue edges on each side with small red lights. It was very beautiful.”

The witness described the object.

“The object did not move for about 15-20 seconds. There was no noise. It did not fly off into the distance. It disappeared into a doorway in the sky and it was gone.”

The witness included one illustration with the MUFON report, which was filed on September 25, 2014. California MUFON is investigating. California has a current UFO Alert Rating of 3 with a high number of recent reports nationally. California had 99 UFO reports in August 2014 – the highest reporting state. President Eisenhower Meets Extraterrestrials At Holloman Air Force Base 

President Dwight Eisenhower was said to have had three meeting with Extraterrestrials during his presidency. The artist likeness of a UFO and this story give the details of meeting that was held at Holloman Air Force Base in February 1955. The sketch below was made by a mechanic after  a subsequent meeting that Eisenhower had with ETs in the summer of 1958.

Shortly after the US Air Force became a separate branch of the service, Alamogordo Air Base became Holloman AFB in honour of Colonel George V. Holloman, a pioneer in Air Force research and development." The old Alamogordo airfield had been a training base for heavy bombers. Then, U.S. President Dwight Eisenhower was landing at Holloman. It was a smooth landing as landings go. The big Lockheed Constellation in passenger service in those days carried over 125 passengers, but there were fewer than twenty aides and secret service men in the main cabin with the crew of fourteen each at his station. At about 7,000 feet into the landing, Major Bill Draper, the pilot, started reversing the engines, and the plane slowed measurably and taxied to the end of the runway.

Air Force One taxied back up the runway about 75 yards and stopped. All engines were shut down. There were probably 300 people with a vantage point, who saw Air Force One land, and as it did, they called others to other windows, work stations and vantage points. It must have seemed very eerie for the president's plane to be seen sitting out there almost a half mile away, alone and quiet.

No red carpet, no band, no honour parade, just a few horned meadowlarks calling in the distance. Eventually, the base workers returned to their stations. And always the question was asked: Is Ike here? What's going on? The civilians and military on the base had been told that while the president was here, this would be a "business as usual" day. A few minutes earlier, Col. Sharp, the base commander, and several officers had gone to the base operations tower to see the president's plane land.

The first communication they heard about 8:10 was "HOLLOMAN TOWER, THIS IS AIR FORCE 7885 TEN MILES EAST OF MARYHILL."

They requested landing instructions, other traffic in the area, and base wind direction. The runway they were assigned was the farthest away from the hangars and workshops. It was obvious to base personnel that what was happening or going to happen was as far away as it could be. Little could be seen unless one had a vantage point and binoculars. Phones all over the base were very busy, many questions were asked, is he still out on the runway?

But about ten minutes after the plane landed the radar officers gave instructions to shut off all radar. He had turned base operations over to his deputy base commander as long as the President was here. He felt it his duty to be with him with no distractions.

There were a dozen visual patrols out around the base and some of the up-range small radars were on. A phone rang in the tower with a report of two unidentified objects passing over Range Road 12. Then a minute later the bogies were over Range Road 7 only a few minutes from the runways. Men in the tower swung their glasses to the north in the morning haze. Then something glinted in the sun, then something else just below it.

A report came in of a third bogie five minutes behind the first two. The tower personnel who did not know what these were, were stunned. No tail, no wings, no motors. Just round objects approaching the president's plane sitting alone on the far runway with a covey of base officers in the tower, including Col. Sharp. They knew something big was up. They reported the objects, logged them and did their job which was "business as usual." The two objects stopped about 300 feet over Air Force One, and one descended on the far side of the plane and gently touched about 200 feet ahead of the plane.

The other hovered briefly and then came across the near runway towards the big hangars and some shop buildings. It took up a position somewhere above the buildings over the tarmac. The disc had a good vantage point of anything that might come towards the president's plane and the disc on the ground. It was with some disbelief that two UFOs had come to Holloman AFB in  of 1955. There was little background for believing in them at all as extraterrestrial. Some who saw or heard about the two craft at the base that day thought they might be new Russian or German innovations.

Soon after the UFO landed in front of Air Force One, a man many assumed to be the President, came to the doorway of the plane, descended the portable stairs and approached the saucer on the ground. Some sort of a hatch had been opened a few minutes before and had folded down to become a small ramp. The man walked up the ramp, stood briefly at the opening, shook hands with someone, and went inside.

Observers thought the period of time to be about 45 minutes. When he emerged from the craft, he walked towards Air Force One. Part of this time he was facing the observers, and most were sure it was Ike. He wore no hat, and many recognized the hairline and his erect military walk.

NASA Jet Propulsion Lab has released a photo of what appears to be a perfect sphere on Mars. While this occurrence does happen in nature it is extremely rare and is usually associated with water flow over long periods of time. Also, the fact that this sphere is by itself makes it even more mysterious.
